Project:

Westin Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego, CA

About the project:

Located within San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter, this 450-room hotel was among the first of the Starwood properties to unveil the brands new modern design with this $25M renovation.

The hotel’s grand porte cochère and iconic 40-foot, stainless steel sculpture create a sense of arrival for guests.

This fast-track hotel renovation incorporates a newly transformed lobby, which is modern in design and accented by earthtones, natural wood and stone.  Customized check-in pods front an illuminated feature wall and provide a more personal guest experience.  The lobby lounge, which is accented by a vertical garden, offers guests a space to relax, recharge and refresh.  Other floor-to-ceiling refinements include the Pinzimini Italian Restaurant and Bar, Ingredients Grab ’n Go, meeting rooms and event spaces.
