R.D. Olson Construction Builds Bay Area Hotel

 

IRVINE, Calif.--R.D. Olson Construction has completed building the Marriott Townplace Suites located at 29802 Cedar Blvd. In Newark, Calif. The 73,300-square-foot extended-stay hotel will provide lodging for business people visiting the San Francisco Bay Area.

Irvine-based R.D. Olson Construction, specialists in hotel and restaurant building, provided the general contracting and project management for the $6.4 million hotel. The hotel consists of two colonial-style buildings housing 122 suites and featuring many extended-stay accommodations including efficiency kitchens and a laundry facility. It was designed by its owner, Marriott International Design Construction, Inc.

"Marriott Townplace Suites will provide travelers with comfortable lodging for long-staying guests to enjoy," said Dennis Reyling, president, R.D. Olson Construction.
