R.D. Olson Construction Completes Upscale Seafood Restaurant

Redondo Beach, Calif.—R.D. Olson Construction, specialists in hotels, restaurants and retail complexes, has completed a major remodel of a popular seafood restaurant, Bluewater Grill. Previously housing a Charlie Browns, the structure has undergone extensive remodeling to create a New England-style fish house.

Bluewater Grill is located at 665 N. Harbor Drive on the Redondo Beach Marina. The 15,000-square-foot restaurant is encased by teak wood paneling and large windows overlooking the marina. It houses a bar, lounge, oyster bar, large mesquite barbeques, full display kitchen, and two banquet rooms.

The restaurant remodel was designed by Scheer Tanaka Dennehy Riley Architects. It is owned by Bluewater Grill, Redondo, L.P.

R.D. Olson Construction was founded in 1979 by Robert Olson.
