Calabasas, Calif.--Irvine-based hotel builder, R.D. Olson Construction, has signed a $7 million contract to build a Hilton Garden Inn in Calabasas. The hotel is centrally located at 24150 Park Sorrento.
R.D. Olson Construction will provide general contracting services for the 74,000-square-foot hotel, which is owned by Mian Horizon Financial Corporation. The early California-style structure will house 142 suites, three conference rooms and a pool, spa and fitness area. It was designed by RYS Architecture.
"While we have built many Hilton Garden Inns, each hotel has presented its own challenges," said Dennis Reyling, president, R.D. Olson Construction. "We typically exceed our clients’ expectations, which has earned us a lot of repeat business".
Construction of the Hilton Garden Inn will begin in December 2000 and is scheduled for completion in August 2001.
