R.D. Olson Construction Builds New Restaurant in Northern California for Fast-Growing Chain

 

Milpitas, Calif. - Irvine-based R.D. Olson Construction has completed a $9 million Dave & Buster's in Milpitas, Calif. The company provided pre-construction and construction management services, and general contracting for the 58,000-square-foot entertainment-style restaurant, which was designed by Melvin R. Fain Associates.

"This is the eighth Dave & Buster's we have built," said Dennis Reyling, president, R.D. Olson Construction. "It's exciting to be part of a company that is experiencing such tremendous growth."

R.D. Olson Construction also built Dave & Buster's restaurants in Irvine, Orange and Ontario in California, and Atlanta, Ga., Denver, Colo., Springdale, Ohio and St. Louis, Mo.

The new addition to the Dave & Buster's chain is located at 447 Great Mall Dr. in the Great Mall of the Bay. Before being remodeled into its current 2 million-square-foot retail outlet, the site was home to a large Ford factory.

R.D. Olson Construction is a national general contractor and construction management company. It was founded by Robert Olson in 1979 and has since built such well-known establishments as Northpark Plaza, Irvine; Hilton Garden Inn, Arcadia; and Duke's Surf City, Huntington Beach and Malibu.
