R.D. Olson Construction Hires Senior Project Manager |

Stones' responsibilities will include bidding and negotiating projects, client management, and construction quality control. Stones will delve into his role overseeing construction management of SineSPACE in Hollywood - a trend-setting restaurant and bar that will host movie premieres. "We chose him because he is exceptionally knowledgeable of all aspects of the profession," While most of Stones' work is in commercial building, his expertise is often has been called upon for special projects such as an 11-acre private Las Vegas estate, consisting of eight high-end buildings that included a 38,000- square-foot sports facility, 30,000-square-foot discotheque and two 18,000- square-foot guesthouses. Stones is a 25-year veteran of the building industry. Earlier in his career, he operated his own business, Stones Construction of Oklahoma City, OK. As a self-employed general contractor, Stones specializes in hotels and was responsible for building many of the lodging facilities surrounding Disneyworld in Orlando, Fla. He also was one of the only contractors who, during the 1970s, was hired to build discotheques in the larger hotels, such as the Quality Inn, San Diego; Holiday Inn, San Bernardino; and Sebastians, Bentroff, Iowa. R. D. Olson Construction is a national general contractor and construction management company. It was founded by Robert Olson in 1979 and has since built such well-known establishments as the Glen Ivy Spa, Brea; Benihana, Golden Valley, MN: and Blue Sea Lodge, San Diego, Calif. R. D.
