ARCADIA, Calif.--R. D. Olson Construction has completed building the $3.85 million Fairfield Suites at 99 North Second Ave. in Arcadia. R. D. Olson Construction, an Irvine-based company, which specializes in hotels, country clubs and restaurants, was the general contractor for the 48,200-square-foot structure.
The wood-framed four-story Fairfield Suites owned by Stonebridge Companies of Aurora, Colo. houses 86 suites, two executive meeting rooms, a large fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool. It was designed by Seaver Franks Architects and Design Force Corporation.
"We built the hotel to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for the city's many extended-stay guests," said Dennis Reyling, president, R. D. Olson Construction.
R. D. Olson Construction is a national general contractor and construction management company. It was founded by Robert Olson in 1979 and has since built such well-known establishments as the Holiday Inn Select and Conference Center, La Mirada; Northpark Plaza, Irvine; and Dave and Buster's, Irvine and Orange.
