Irvine, Calif.-R.D. Olson Construction, specialists in building hotels, shopping centers and country clubs, has hired building veteran, David Wilburn, as project manager.
PALM DESERT, Calif.--R.D. Olson Construction has completed the first phase of the Marriott Vacation Club in Palm Desert, Calif. The two main structures for this phase included the sales office and maintenance facility. The Irvine-based construction company also built several other structures to support the golf course including a 9th hole snack shop, comfort station, pump station, cart wash, landscape supply building and cart shelter.
R.D. Olson Construction provided complete general contracting services for the $7 million project located at 9000 Shadow Ridge Rd. The Mediterranean-style structures designed by MBH Architect total 65,382 square feet and are the beginning stages of a full-service vacation club.
R.D. Olson Construction also has worked with Marriott Vacation Club International on other projects including the first phase of Marriott’s Newport Coast Villas -- a 77 acre resort located in Newport Beach.
