R.D. Olson Construction Completes First Phase of Revamped PacifiCare Office Complex

CYPRESS, Calif.--R.D. Olson Construction, specialists in building business complexes, hotels and restaurants, has completed $3.8 million in major tenant improvements for the PacifiCare offices located at 6251 Katella Ave., Cypress, Calif. The Irvine-based construction company provided the general contracting and construction management for the improvements totaling 60,000 square feet.

The building’s shell was once used as a warehouse. R.D. Olson Construction transformed it into an upscale office facility characterized by massive amounts of open area, large space frames and exposed trusses, girders and lighting. The designer was Loring Cruz Design & Consulting.

"This warehouse-style office structure exemplifies a new trend in office design," said Dennis Reyling, president, R.D. Olson Construction. "It is not only functional, but also demonstrates how a business can take advantage of an older existing structure and transform it into cutting edge design."

R.D. Olson Construction is a national general contractor and construction management company, which specializes in building country clubs, hotels and restaurants nationwide.
