R.D. Olson Construction Completes Sea Villas Condominiums

  DANA POINT, Calif. - R.D. Olson announces the completion of Sea Villas at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa, a $14 million project, which adds 18 private residences to the grounds of this world-class resort. Located on the north side of the main hotel, the villas are designed for those who want to relax in the comfort of their own homes while enjoying the amenities of a luxury coastal hotel.

“These beautifully crafted villas are sure to add an unequivocal exclusivity to this luxurious property,” said Robert Olson, CEO/president of R.D. Olson Construction.

The architects on the project were KTGY Group of Irvine, California, and the interiors were created by the resort’s in-house designers.

From the outside, the Sea Villas appear as six two-story custom homes with blended tile roofs and outdoor fireplaces. Each home is divided into three luxurious condominiums of 3,000 square feet with granite countertops and wood and marble floors throughout. In addition to the $3 million purchase price, owners have the option of using the hotel’s maid service, room service and other amenities for a fee. The villas will be managed under the same high standards established for the St. Regis resort itself.

The villas overlook the resort golf course and offer owners a soothing ocean view. They are just steps away from the ornate St. Regis lobby which serves as a reception point for owner’s guests.

Robert Olson founded R.D. Olson Construction in 1979. It has since grown into one of the largest general contracting companies in California. The company is Irvine-based. It specializes in hospitality, restaurant and shopping center construction nationwide. R.D. Olson has built establishments for such clients as Marriott, Hilton and Benihana to name a few. Current projects under construction in California include Union Station Village at Los Angeles Union Station; Ocean Ranch shopping center, Laguna Niguel; Burbank Residence Inn, Burbank; and Marriott’s Shadow Ridge, Palm Desert. Out of state Olson is working on completing the Benihana, Coral Gables, FL.
