In the flourishing resort
community of Palm Desert, lies Marriott Vacation Club International’s
premiere vacation ownership development – Marriott’s Shadow Ridge. With
decorative fresco flooring, elaborate antiqued iron fixtures and
colorful wall murals, R.D. Olson Construction brought together
contemporary elegance with rustic warmth to create the vision of luxury
for which it is known.
Honored for its striking design, the property’s sales center received a
special American Resort Development Association Award. This impressive,
two-story structure boasts beautiful, arched passageways leading into
the spacious waiting area, and houses a gallery of other Marriott
Vacation Club International properties, twenty offices and a reception
center.
Just a “chip shot” away from an exclusive Nick Faldo-designed golf
course, is the captivating clubhouse. Clearly a work of art, its grand
wrought iron stairwell is the focal point in the foyer, charming the eye
and teasing the imagination. Enveloping the stairwell is the room’s
worldly beauty, created through the use of Italian tile mosaics and
customized carpet imported from England.
At the heart of this stunning resort, is the Spanish hacienda-style
central facilities building. Aged distressed beams lend an old-world
feel while touches of oak and clear maple wood lighten the room with a
classic touch. Pillars of swirled plaster and arched entrances lead the
visitor into an inviting reception area.
Against a magnificent mountain backdrop and surrounded by palm trees and
artful water features, R.D. Olson Construction brought to life this
truly exquisite desert resort with our uncompromising quality and
workmanship. |
