Originally constructed in 1907, San Francisco's Monaco Hotel was completely rebuilt into this icon of luxury which opened to rave reviews.

Contemporary faux-painting and bold colors accent striking features of the early 1900's for an eclectic ensemble of classic sophistication and trendsetting appeal. Designed after European boutique hotels, this extensive renovation entailed restoring the structure's exterior, completing a new 10,000 square foot annex addition; installing new mechanical and electrical systems, and totally rebuilding all public areas, lobbies, and over 200 guest rooms and suites.

Modeled after La Coupole in Paris, the Monaco's Grand Café features rich mahogany finishes, 25 foot ceilings, and terrazzo flooring. R. D. Olson also provided early cost analysis, automated scheduling, and value engineering services.
