  LOFTON MOORE
President

Lofton Moore has worked in the construction industry for more than 30 years. As president of R.D. Olson Construction, he draws from his extensive expertise to oversee all aspects of the $140 million Irvine-based firm that has risen to national recognition for its work in hospitality, restaurant and spa construction. He oversees its operations, contract negotiations and marketing, working to ensure the company continues the upward growth pattern it has enjoyed for so many years. Moore also nurtures the company’s well-respected relationships with such industry giants as Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Sunstone Hotels Investors, Inc., Hilton Hotels, Benihana, Inc., and Morton’s the Steakhouse.

With his vast knowledge of the industry, Moore is forever in search of new ways to increase the company’s market share. He has the foresight and experience to recognize new markets and opportunities. To secure long-range marketability of R.D. Olson Construction, he works with the corporate team in providing the firm with strategic vision and direction.

The construction veteran, known within the industry for his powerful leadership, is credited with managing construction of many of California’s most prominent facilities. He oversaw the $450 million patient tower at Children's Hospital Los Angeles; the 340,000-square foot replacement hospital for the City of Hope; a recent expansion of Bakersfield Memorial Hospital; and several California State University facilities. As a one-of-a-kind project, he oversaw construction of the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Performing Arts Center—a 1300-seat concert hall that is known for its unique design and outstanding acoustics.

Moore is a resident of Yorba Linda and a graduate of Auburn University in Alabama.
