Leadership
William J. Wilhelm
Executive Vice President
As a member of the R.D. Olson Construction Team since 1993, William Wilhelm offers clients a wealth of knowledge, organizational and management skills in pre-construction experience and construction management.
Wilhelm holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management; Associates of Science Degree in Construction Management; and various certificates of completion for Construction Management and Estimating. His experience in the construction industry has included the involvement from the conceptual design phase through construction completion.
Mr. Wilhelm's accomplishments for R.D. Olson Construction include providing pre-construction services, budgeting and value engineering for various types of projects. Some of those include Century Plaza Ballroom and guest rooms, California Pizza Kitchen, J. Alexander’s Restaurants, Hyatt, Ojai Spa and Resorts, Four Seasons Resorts, Hiddenbrooke Country Club, Irvine Company Retail Centers and Sunstone Corporate facilities.
Prior to joining R.D. Olson Construction, Wilhelm had spent 15 years working for development construction firms with involvement in commercial, retail, distribution plant facilities and custom residential projects. Since working for development firms, Wilhelm has learned first hand the value needed for conceptual estimating and value engineering from the project’s conception through the design phase.
